We now have the capability to go from the design to a finished prototype part in days instead of weeks.  We were recently asked to design and tool a large part that had to be at a dealer show within two week s and the parts had to be production representative.  We were able to design the part in one day, cut the tool that night and on the morning of the second day, we were running prototype parts by noon.  Lead time on production tools has also been cut in half by adding all post casting operations to the Sportech lineup.  Typical lead time on small to medium size prototype tools will be 5 days and just 7 days on large tools.
